Hello from northwestern Pennsylvania.
What a beautiful time of the year to be traveling! I enjoy the fall season and we are just beginning to see some of the leaves changing. Each changing season declares the greatness of our God and reminds me of how amazing it is knowing that He desires to have a personal relationship with each of us.
Yesterday was spent in Massillon, Ohio, repairing our diesel Aqua hot unit. This is what heats the water, is our main heat source, and warms the engine. We were able to find and replace the dysfunctional thermostat, and everyone is very grateful for hot showers and a warmer bus again.
This evening we will be sharing in Meadville, Pennsylvania. This is the community where Cindy grew up, and she always enjoys returning to see family and friends. Cindy’s parents no longer live here, but she still has two brothers and their families here.
We are also looking forward to having our good friends, Brackin and Lindsey Kirkland and family (Sounds Like Reign) join us for tonight’s service. It will be wonderful to connect with them again and we know those attending will be blessed by their family and ministry.
Life in itinerate ministry requires everyone working together, and I’m thankful for our family team. Each of us have focused responsibilities to keep things running smoothly and to accomplish the tour schedule and ministry focus.
We will be heading to Lancaster, PA on Saturday to share our From Pain to Purpose seminar at Metzler Mennonite Church and look forward to seeing different ones of you there.
Please pray with us as we determine what to include in our schedule for next year. There are many good opportunities for us to sort through, but we desire God’s wisdom to know the best plans. Also pray with us about our need for more administrative assistance. If we’d have someone to help in this way, it would allow more time for ministry. Thank you for keeping our family in your prayers. God bless you richly.
Because of Jesus,
Duane

Posted at 22:05h, 30 OctoberAck! Where in Meadville were you? I hadn’t heard anything about you coming to Meadville. I live in Saegertown, work in Cochranton and attend Meadville Mennonite Chapel in Meadville. From Brackin Kirkland’s vlog it looks like I would have enjoyed the service.

Posted at 22:13h, 30 OctoberI just found your schedule and saw you were at Pleasantview Mennonite in Cochranton. I sometimes drive by the fellowship hall when I’m working. I thought it looked familiar. I’m sorry I missed the service. Anyway, God bless you.

Posted at 12:57h, 07 NovemberHi Jonathan. We’re sorry we missed you when we were there in your area. You’re correct. The service was held at the Pleasantview church in Cochranton. We would’ve enjoyed meeting you in person, but it’s a pleasure to at least meet you via social media. God bless you on your journey….
