Good evening from North Carolina!
We are enjoying the last leaves of this fall season, as well as the crisp mornings and beautiful, sunny days. We had one week here at home between tours, so our days have been very full, but we’re trying to take time to enjoy the beauty and blessings around us.
Each time I intentionally focus and reflect on God’s bigger picture, my heart is filled with gratitude. When my to-do lists continue to spill into the next day, life has the tendency to get intense. But one thing we as believers cannot fail to do is daily being in God‘s word and allowing it to filter through our mind. We need to be listening and obeying God’s voice.
It was a joy on our last tour to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those whose faith has been challenged. We had the privilege to show compassion and understanding to many individuals facing extreme situations of pain and loss. I am appalled at how the enemy continues to make great attempts to destroy men and women of faith.
Brianna and Alisha continue to sense God‘s calling to be involved with our family ministry focus, but this is an ongoing discussion in our family. We thank God for the opportunities we have today, but continue to hold the future and God’s direction for our family with an open hand. There are several new ministry developments for 2019 that we are excited about. We will be sharing more about them in the future.
We are looking forward to seeing many of you on our banquet tour to PA next week! We look forward to the time there, and our prayer is that God would be glorified and the listeners would be encouraged in their walk of faith.
Please pray with our family. We are constantly fighting against the powers of evil, but are grateful that God’s power is still greater. And He will not be defeated!
Because of Jesus,
