From Pain to Purpose Intensives 2020

In 2019, we conducted the first From Pain to Purpose Intensive, and the results were indescribable.

This year, we are expanding to include two additional prisons.

Where do you turn when the bottom drops out of life? What do you do when all that remains of your shattered life is walls of anger, depression, fear, and lies? How do you face a loss or traumatic event as an overcomer?

Our family, other speakers, and trained counselors spend 40 hours for 5 days with the same group of inmates answering these questions, spending time in small group discussions, and praying one on one with individuals.

Ways you can be involved:

1. Join our prayer force

Sign up to receive brief video snapshots so you can pray knowledgeably during these high intensity events.

2. Help to sponsor

Prison work is volunteered, so we depend on generous supporters to make these events happen!

3. Join us as a small group leader

If you want to come be part of the action, contact us about joining as a small group leader. We can utilize both men and women who have caring hearts, and are willing to walk alongside inmates as they process painful events in their lives.

Feedback:

“A lot of groups come in here and tell us about the Christian life. From Pain to Purpose Intensive showed us how to live that life.”

-Inmate, Perry CI

[During From Pain to Purpose 2019] men were digging deep and sharing the very depths of who they were. It was amazing. I’ve been in ministry over 30 years, and I’ve personally never seen anything more impactful than these five days. I’m excited about what God is going to do. This is just the beginning!

From Pain to Purpose has gone beyond our wildest expectations.
