Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2-1 C. powdered Truvia
- 1/8-1/4 t. salt
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1 and 1/2 C. heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- With a hand mixer, mix cream cheese until smooth.
- Add everything except the whipping cream, and beat until smooth.
- Whip the heavy cream until stiff, then fold in with the cream cheese mixture until well incorporated.
This light, fluffy, and delightfully yummy frosting is fun to make and even more fun to EAT! It is not overly sweet and goes well with many things. It’s delicious on cakes and cookies, and is one of my favorite go-to icing.
I came up with this frosting recipe when I wanted something light and fluffy to use on my Melt-In-Your Mouth Pumpkin Cookies, and it ended up being a great combo. This frosting also works great on my Amazing Cinnamon Rolls, but you may want to use less whipping cream if you prefer it not as fluffy. The possibilities are endless!
